Ocean Hues
If you live in Cyprus, the chances are that you are not far from the water. Being such a small island means that even if you are based inland, you are never much of a drive away from the fresh sea breeze and bustling coastal towns like Limassol, Paphos, or Agia Napa.
Bring those beachy vibes into your home by using the sea as your décor theme. Take inspiration from the salty waves, pale sand, and crystal-clear blue waters.
Decoration tips to achieve this look: turquoise walls, jars of pebbles from the beach, adorn tables with natural ornaments and trinkets made from shells, ropes, nets, and driftwood.

Pure White
There is something inherently peaceful and calming about a cool, white room. The plainness of the white is relaxing: Far from being clinical, it can lull you into a dream-like state.
Imagine crisp, fresh white linen on the bed, open French windows, white shutters, and full-length flowing white curtains; it’s a picture of luxury.
A classic white wall can also be accented with splashes of colour in the form of lighting, cushions, art, or furniture, giving you more design options if you think pure white is too much of a minimalist aesthetic.
Tropical Feel
Achieve the perfect tropical environment in your home by using leafy accents. Think green walls, bright colours, and house plants – lots of them. Not only do house plants look great, but they also come with some serious health benefits, such as improving the air quality and leading to feelings of greater wellbeing.
Introduce textures such as wicker baskets and jute or sisal rugs to really immerse yourself in the jungle feel.
Ask your decorator about quality paints to create this attractive style.

Pastel Vibes
Style your space using a pastel palette, with subtle yellows, muted greens, and soothing blues. This is a softer approach to decorating compared to some of the more bold and colourful decorative styles mentioned in this list, but it is my no means any less impressive.
The beautiful pastel colours are not overwhelming to the eye and can be highlighted by dark floors or furnishings for a sophisticated look.
Our painting company has used pastels in Limassol properties for many years.

Pantone Colour of the Year
The Pantone colours of 2021 are “PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray + PANTONE 13-0647”, two contrasting yet complementary tones. Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, describes this pairing as “[expressing] a message of positivity supported by fortitude […] this is a colour combination that gives us resilience and hope”.
Keep your home up-to-date by utilizing this modern match of basic grey and illuminating yellow. A skilled decorating contractor can paint the walls in alternating tones, or you could use one colour as a base whilst accessorising the room with the other.

Earthy Palettes
Feel connected with the earth by bringing warm browns, earthy reds and muddy beiges into your home. These colours are rooted in nature, inspired by the great outdoors, and are incredibly versatile in any room in your house. Get inspired by sand, mud, trees, rock, and stone.
Neutrals work great on the walls in a living room, kitchen, bathroom, or even on the exterior of your property. Taupe can contribute to a shabby chic feel, or help to achieve a rustic, country aesthetic.
